Fishing improved a little. We had an excellent group of clients. Good fishermen and great people.
90 fish were landed this week. Average weight 9.8 pounds. 20 fish over 15 pounds and just 1 of them was over 20 pounds.
Top rod was Jim Lehman with 12 fish landed, 4 of them over 15 pounds.
Nikolai Kirsanov landed the fish of the week: 22 pounds on the last session.
Water Conditions:
Water color and visibility: The first two days water was cloudy because of the very strong wind we had on Sunday.
Water temperature: between 38°F and 57°F
Water level: On Friday the river raised a couple of inches due the heavy rain we had on Thursday.
Weather Conditions:
Wind speed ranges through the week: 0 to 50 mph.
Air temperatures: Mostly cold early in the morning and warming up by noon. Temperature ranged from 30°F to 77°F

Fishing Conditions:
Flies that are working the best: Nymphs: EMB Rubber-legs, Aurelia Prince. TDF Prince, Red Butt. Yuk bug, wooly buggers, TDF taxi. Big flies for the last hour: intruders, tube flies, leeches.
Fly lines: We fished mostly different lengths of T-14 and T-17. To throw these tips we used Skagit heads.
Length and strength of tippet and leaders: 4 to 12 feet long, 15 to 20 pounds.
