A wet windy start to the week but boy did the fishing start off well.  Harrald Claessen and Robert Gilchrist were quick out of the blocks with 18 GT’s for the day and 7 of them over 100 cm. Robert landed the biggest fish of the week, measuring a whopping 124cm while his fishing partner Harrald Claessen came close on the same day with a fish of 118cm.

The week started in true Seychelles style with a slight North-Easter blowing and great visibility. The bonefishing was “off the charts” with 129 Bonefish landed during the first day. There were a few big fish around with Grant Wiswell landing his personal best Bonefish of 66cm and estimated at around 9 lbs.

The run of flat calm weather continued on from last week and so did the great fishing.  The GT’s were around in good numbers with fish being caught both on the flats and in the surf line.

162 fish were landed this week at Estancia Maria Behety Lodge. Of those, 36 fish were over 15 pounds, 6 of these were over 20 pounds. The average weight of sea-trout was 9.3 pounds.

64 fish were landed with 7 rods. 9 fish over 15 pounds, 2 of these were over 20 pounds. The average weight was 8.8 pounds.
